Prayer for Prophetic Reformation

🔹 1. Pray for a new leadership pattern in the Church, where apostolic and prophetic callings are rightly valued and positioned.

• The era of churches led primarily by Shepherd/Teachers to give way to a more balanced fivefold leadership.
• Apostolic and prophetic voices carry pioneering DNA to seek out new spiritual paths and release fresh blueprints- essential to find the shape of the new wine skin for future church.
• When properly aligned, these gifts create space for evangelists and builders to function in unity.
• God is confronting 

🔹 2. Pray for the restoration of the prophetic as a holy and vertical calling that points the Church to God’s character.

• The prophetic call is rooted in the royal priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:9), not in celebrity or stardom.
• God is dismantling platform-driven prophetic culture and returning focus to humble, God-glorifying ministry.
• The prophetic reformation will shift influence from a few high-profile voices to equipping the wider body.
• A fresh emphasis is needed on helping every believer recognize and walk in their unique, holy calling.
• Humility- (1 Corinthians 1:29–31) reminds us that no one may boast, but all may boast in the Lord. 

🔹 3. Pray for clarity and maturity to return to the Church’s understanding of the prophetic gift.

• In recent years, the prophetic has often been misunderstood or misrepresented, leaving many confused or feeling disqualified.
• Teachings that emphasized character, servanthood, and function have been drowned out by hype and performance.
• God wants to restore a servant-hearted prophetic culture that brings strength and clarity to the entire Body.
• This includes rediscovering the beauty of diverse prophetic expressions and the dignity of lesser-seen roles. 

🔹 4. Pray for the Church to embrace the full breadth of God’s communication and creativity.

• The Church has often legitimized only a narrow portion of God’s voice, missing the richness of His creative language.
• God desires to speak through the arts, innovation, and Spirit-inspired creativity that often goes beyond words.
• This is essential not just for the Church, but to reach people far outside existing Church structures.
• The Tabernacle pattern reveals this vertical priesthood that releases God’s presence into culture and community.
• Restoring God’s language will restore how people see and understand His nature and His heart. 

🔹 5. Pray for prophetic discernment and purity to strengthen spiritual warfare and kingdom advance.

• Accurate, Spirit-led revelation is vital for overcoming deception and advancing the purposes of God.
• The enemy has used hype and ego-driven words to distort the prophetic, drawing many into confusion.
• There’s a need for deep equipping—like AOHG/Streams Academy type equipping—to ground the Church in maturity.
• God is stirring a hunger for true, Christ-centered prophetic ministry over sensationalism. 

🔹 6. Pray into God’s process of exposing what is spiritually dry or dying in the Church, even when it still appears alive on the surface.

• I’ve had several recent warning dreams that indicate many church communities have signs of life, but are masking deeper rot or detrimental spiritual dryness.
• While God is already dealing with more high-profile areas, He is also dealing with issues even in local churches and there will continue to be an exposing of what can no longer remain beneath the outer appearance.
• Where healthy expressions are still restricted, God is navigating people around the restrictive structures and into new spiritual territory to explore and pioneer.
• The transition will take time, as God simultaneously works through exposure, reformation, and revival. 

🔹 7. Pray for maturity in discernment, especially in Church leadership

• I had a recent disturbing dream call that I understood related to intercession for the church. It featured a child being given a king cobra and a python as pets.
• In the dream, the parents were oblivious to the threat, and the snakes roamed the house freely. I watched as the king cobra consumed another smaller snake as prey (Not the python).
• I believe the dream carries a sobering warning: without mature prophetic input, leaders may fail to see dangers at work in their own communities.
• The Church often functions on mainly Shepherd/Teacher level, but without prophetic maturity, there is a gap in spiritual discernment, discerning of spirits and an awareness of deeper level spiritual dynamics that affect people. 

🔹 8. Pray for grace and flexibility in the Church during the necessary reformation.

• I’ve heard many times the Lord say”It will be messy” but it is almost said with a chuckle – not out of disdain, but as one fully confident in His process.
• We must let go of structures we thought were immovable, as some are actually sources of unnecessary restriction.
• This season requires the Church to be more adaptable than ever, trusting God to lead through the unknown.
• Even in the upheaval, He is causing new life to rise, and His Spirit will guide those willing to follow.
